Background
The immunogen for the anti-h-p19 was a his-tagged recombinant full length p19 protein recognizing a 19kD protein. The p19ink4d tumor suppressor protein shows no cross reactivity with the closely related inhibitors including p16 ink4a and p15ink4b. p19nk4d is a specific inhibitor of cdk4/cdk6 and is periodically expressed during cell cycle. It is maximally induced as cells enter S phase.
Synonyms: hp19; p19 ink4d; CDKN2D; Cyclin-dependent kinase 4 inhibitor D
