Mouse anti-M13 phage coat protein g8p

Antibodies recognising M13 filamentous phage coat proteins are instrumental in the selection and detection of phages expressing specific antibody fragments or peptide sequences at their surface. The monoclonal antibodies manufactured and supplied by Exalpha react with either the pIII (g3p) or pVIII (g8p) proteins of M13 filamentous bacteriophage. All antibodies are available in a purified format. The antibodies are fully validated and are suitable for a wide range of techniques including:

Background

Human HDAC6 (GenBank Accession No. BC069243), full length with N-terminal GST tag, MW= 159 kDa, expressed in baculovirus expression system. Responsible for the deacetylation of lysine residues on the N-terminal part of the core histones (H2A, H2B, H3 and H4). Histone deacetylation gives a tag for epigenetic repression and plays an important role in transcriptional regulation, cell cycle progression and developmental events. Histone deacetylases act via the formation of large multiprotein complexes (By similarity). Plays a central role in microtubule-dependent cell motility via deacetylation of tubulin.

Positive Control

Specific Activity: 50 U/ug. One U =1 pmol/min, Located in the nucleus and Cytoplasm. Not:It is mainly cytoplasmic, where it is associated with microtubules.

Formulation

Formulated in 50 mM Tris-HCl, pH 8.0, 138 mM NaCl, 20 mM glutathione, and 10% glycerol.
