Chickens were immunized with highly purified Toxin A glucosyl transferase purified from Clostridium difficile. After multiple immunizations in Freund's adjuvant, eggs were collected and the IgY purified. Anti-Clostridium difficile Toxin A was immunoaffinity purified using the immunogen immobilized on a solid support and conjugated to Biotin.
