Chickens were immunized with highly purified Binary Toxin Subunit B purified from Clostridium difficile. After multiple immunizations in Freund's adjuvant, eggs were collected and the IgY purified. Anti-Clostridium difficile Binary Toxin Subunit B was immunoaffinity purified using the immunogen immobilized on a solid support and conjugated to fluorescein isothiocyanate.
