Chickens were immunized with highly purified Binary Toxin, B subunit, purified from Clostridium difficile. After multiple immunizations in Freund's adjuvant, eggs were collected and the IgY purified. Anti-Clostridium difficile Binary Toxin, Subunit B was immunoaffinity purified using the immunogen immobilized on a solid support and conjugated to Biotin.

Used in ELISA with its unconjugated counterpart (Cat. # ACdBTSB) as capture (1 ug/well), this antibody at 1:1000 to 1:5000 dilution can detect as little as 1 ng/ml of the Binary Toxin, Subunit B. Optimal working dilutions should be determined for your particular assay conditions.
Product should be stored at -20°C. Aliquot to avoid freeze/thaw cycles.
