Goats were immunized with highly purified chicken IgY Fc fragment isolated from normal chicken serum. The resulting anti IgY Fc was passed over an Fab immunoabsorbant and the anti Fc immunoaffinity purified from a chicken IgY immunoabsorbant.

Applications
The affinity purified antibody reacst only with IgY and not IgM or IgA chicken immunoglobulins by immunodiffusion and IEP techniques. This product is suitable for ELISA and immunoblotting. Optimal working dilutions should be determined for your particular assay conditions.

Storage
Product can be stored ot 4ºC for a short period, but should be stored at -20ºC for longer storage periods. Aliquot to avoid freeze/thaw cycles.
