Mouse anti-M13 phage coat protein g8p

Antibodies recognising M13 filamentous phage coat proteins are instrumental in the selection and detection of phages expressing specific antibody fragments or peptide sequences at their surface. The monoclonal antibodies manufactured and supplied by Exalpha react with either the pIII (g3p) or pVIII (g8p) proteins of M13 filamentous bacteriophage. All antibodies are available in a purified format. The antibodies are fully validated and are suitable for a wide range of techniques including:

  • Flow Cytometry

  • Immunohistochemistry

Background

CALHM1 controls cytosolic Ca2+ permeability and cytosolic Ca2+ concentration. It controls amyloid precursor protein (APP) proteolysis and aggregated amyloid-beta (Abeta) peptides levels in a Ca2+ dependent manner. However, no association between CALHM1 and Alzheimer’s risk is unclear. Member of the FAM26 family of proteins. CALHM1 is predominantly expressed in the adult brain. It has also been detected in retinoic acid-differentiated SH-SY5Y cells. Also colocalizes with HSPA5 at the endoplasmic reticulum.

Staining on paraffin embedded human hepatocellular carcinoma sections. Primary Ab (immunoaffinity purified) at 10 µg/ml. Antigen retrieval used: 10 mM Na Citrate pH 6.0, 10 minutes pressure cooker method, developed with anti rabbit HRP and DAP substrate. Counterstained with methyl blue.
