Host | Mouse |
Application | ELISA IHC(C P) WB Western Blotting |
The polyclonal antibody against VEGF-B is well suited to detect human VEGF-B in body fluids, tissues and culture media. VEGFs (Vascular Endothelial Growth Factors) are a group of homodimer glycoproteins. The subunits are linked by disulfide bonds. (MW reduced form 18-24 kDa). VEGFs are involved in angiogenesis during embryogenesis and in tumour progression and generation of metastasis. They possess mitogenic characteristics and specifically increase the permeability of endothelia in blood vessels. Human VEGF-B 167 and 186 isoforms, no reactivity with human VEGF-A, VEGF-C, and VEGF-D..
