Claudin 1Catalogue number: CLA001
The antibody is well suited for the detection of Claudin-1 in tissue slices. Claudin 1-8 are a family of transmembrane proteins, which are associated with tight junctions. They are responsible for the contacts between cells. They form a molecular network inhibiting the leakage of ions and water. Tight junctions are numerous on the luminal side of epithelia and the composition of Claudins are different in different tissues. Claudin-1 (22 kDa).

*These antibodies are intended for in vitro research use only. They must not be used for clinical diagnostics and not for in vivo experiments in humans or animals. ** The preservative sodium azide is known to be poisonous and potentially hazardous to health. It should be handled only by trained staff. Despite of the product's low azide concentration it must be handled with care. Dispose according to regional rules!
