C-erbB-2 Onkoprotein, HER-2/neu

Catalogue number: CE110-G

Units5 ml
Application IHC(C

The antibody may be used for the detection of over-expression of C-erbB-2 oncoprotein in mamma carcinoma and other adenocarcinoma. C-erbB-2 proto-oncogene is localized on human chromosome 17 encoding for a 185-190 kDa membrane protein, showing structural similarity to the EGF-receptor. Over-expression of c-erbB-2 oncoprotein is correlated with bad prognosis in mamma carcinoma. Also other carcinoma like adenocarcinoma of the stomach exhibit increased levels of C-erb B-2 gene product. Synonyms for c-erbB-2 oncoprotein are ERBB2 oncoprotein, neu-oncoprotein, and HER-2/neu oncoprotein. C-erbB-2 oncoprotein.

*These antibodies are intended for in vitro research use only. They must not be used for clinical diagnostics and not for in vivo experiments in humans or animals. ** The preservative sodium azide is known to be poisonous and potentially hazardous to health. It should be handled only by trained staff. Despite of the product's low azide concentration it must be handled with care. Dispose according to regional rules!
